Use of the forecast

OnBite provides fishing guidance based on publicly available environmental data and our own scoring model. It is provided for informational and recreational purposes only. Favorable conditions do not guarantee a catch, and scores may be inaccurate or unavailable. You use the forecast at your own risk.

Safety and regulations

Nothing on this site is advice about whether it is safe to go on the water. Always check official marine and weather warnings, wear appropriate safety equipment, and comply with all local fishing licences, seasons, size and bag limits, and access rules. You are solely responsible for fishing legally and safely.

Catch reports and user content

When you post a catch you confirm it is your own genuine report, and you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it publicly on the map. Do not post: false reports, other people's personal information, protected or sensitive locations, advertising or spam, or abusive, obscene or unlawful content. We may remove any report at any time without notice.

Accuracy of user reports

Catch reports are submitted by members of the public. We do not verify them and are not responsible for their accuracy.

This site displays advertising and may contain affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OnBite is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its forecasts or user reports.
