Bite forecast

Is it a good time to fish right now?

Pick your target species and location. OnBite reads live weather, barometric pressure, wind, cloud, moon phase and solunar timing, then scores every hour of the next three days from 0–100 — tuned to how that species feeds.

Barometric pressure

Falling pressure ahead of a weather change often flips fish into feeding mode. Steady high pressure usually slows them down.

Water & air temperature

Every species has a preferred temperature band. OnBite compares current conditions to that band — the single biggest driver of activity.

Light & time of day

Dawn and dusk are prime for most fish. Night feeders like catfish and walleye get scored differently.

Moon & solunar timing

Major and minor solunar periods nudge feeding activity, strongest near new and full moons.

Wind

A light chop helps by breaking up the surface and pushing bait. Too much wind kills clarity and access.

Weather stability

Stable or gently changing conditions beat violent swings. A passing light shower can even trigger a feed.
